A DX CLUSTER is a packet node where DX Chasers on any band or mode can post rare or interesting stations that they have worked or heard.  Of course other people are doing the same thing too, so you can find new DX as well as telling others about the stations you have worked. Clusters tend to be linked to each other so that the amount of people using them increased, thereby increasing the amount of post......

Each has a unique callsign, the prefix of which is allocated by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), issued by their licensing authority.

Age, profession, nationality, political and ethnic barriers are non-existent, thus promoting international friendship and understanding. Amateur radio can be enjoyed by young and old, male and female and even the disabled can make friends around the world from the comfort of their own home.                 

Radio Amateurs have in the past been pioneers in the field of communications. Even today, they are responsible for further advances in modern technology.
